Scalp reconstruction with the limberg flap : Report of a case

Abstract

|
|
The goals of scalp reconstruction are ot provide protection of the cranium and to achieve the best possible appearance.
This case occurred after trauma and showed a 5 X 5cm sized defect of the Lt. temporal region involving the subcutaneous tissue and galea aponeurotica. The surgical technique, complications, and postoperative results are reviewed.
The author used the Limberg flap carefully for the repair of temporal defect, and no serious complications have been encountered.
